Bucks to Host Hoop It Up 3x3 Tour Stop August 16-18

MILWAUKEE (March, 2024) – Exciting news for basketball fans in Milwaukee! The Milwaukee Bucks and Hoop It Up announced this morning that the renowned Hoop It Up 3x3 basketball tour will make a stop in Deer District from August 16-18.

This three-day event marks the first Hoop It Up tournament in Milwaukee in over a decade, offering 3x3 tournaments for players of all ages and skill levels. Youth and adult recreational divisions will cater to ages 8-18, alongside competitive adult divisions. The highlight of the weekend will be a 3x3 Pro-Am tournament, with the winning team earning a $1,000 travel stipend to the national championship in Denver. Additional attractions include a slam dunk contest and a three-point contest.

“We’re excited to host the Hoop It Up 3x3 basketball tour in Deer District,” said Michael Belot, Bucks Senior Vice President of Business Operations & Chief Real Estate Development Officer. “Hoop It Up will bring a fun, basketball-filled weekend to Deer District for people of all ages to enjoy.”

Teams consisting of three to five players are invited to register for the event, with each team guaranteed to play at least three games, each game played to 21 points. Interested teams can register HERE. Registration remains open until August 16.
