In late 2012, with nearly a decade of experience as a Division I coach, Drew ventured out of full-time college coaching and into the world of entrepreneurship, where he applied his understanding of coaching and sports performance training to co-found a fitness and physical therapy-based technology startup. Drew and his startup team were awarded Hartford’s Techstars Startup "People's Choice" and "1st Place" prizes for their work, and accepted an invitation to attend one of six original Global Startup Weekend NEXT Programs while receiving an early-stage seed round from CT Innovations-backed, Lean Launch Ventures.
