FIBA 3x3 basketball will debut as an Olympic sport in 2021

DEBRECEN (Hungary) - 116 games. 16 teams. 1 dream.

After over a year of waiting, we [FIBA] finally have our 16 teams, 8 men’s and 8 women’s, who will be going for gold at the Tokyo Olympics on July 24-28, 2021.

We already settled the first 14 teams through the FIBA 3x3 rankings and the Olympic Qualifying Tournament, but we had two more spots to give away in Hungary.
